Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo 2024

The Australian Automotive Aftermarket Expo (AAA Expo) will take place at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEc) from 11-13 April 2024.

From April 11 to 13, the 2024 Australian Auto Aftermarket Expo took place as scheduled at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Meanwhile, K-Lite, a specialist in automotive lighting and safety products, participated fully in this three-day industry event.

Notably, the expo surpassed size expectations. Specifically, it drew over 13,000 professional visitors and united more than 400 exhibitors across the entire automotive aftermarket supply chain. Furthermore, Australia’s Assistant Minister for Competition, Charities and Treasury Dr. Andrew Leigh hosted the opening ceremony in person—signaling strong industry attention.

For our part, our booth wasn’t the largest. Yet our core product showcase and team’s warm welcome drew plenty of visitors to stop and connect.

At our booth, we showcased core products: automotive LED lights, traffic safety reflective products, and special lamps for trucks, trailers, and two-wheelers. Notably, many Australian and New Zealand repair shop owners and distributors showed keen interest.

For them, compliance and stability topped priorities—and we’re fully confident. Our reflective products hold EU ECE and US DOT certifications; our LED lamps passed rigorous tests.

Additionally, some visitors raised custom demands, such as enhanced waterproofing for local climates. Our technical team promptly discussed preliminary solutions on-site.

Beyond receiving visitors, we visited other booths during breaks. Importantly, the expo had dedicated electrification and ADAS technology zones, with related training fully booked ahead.

From these observations, we clearly sensed the aftermarket’s shift to new energy and intelligence. Additionally, we briefly spoke with automotive electronics exhibitors and learned local demand for new energy vehicle lighting is rising. Importantly, this insight offered valuable references for our future market plans.

By the time the expo concluded, organizers stated feedback “exceeded expectations”—and we fully concur. For K-Lite, this professional expo was more than just a product showcase. More importantly, it let us grasp the Australian market’s pulse and connect face-to-face with industry partners. Looking ahead, we anticipate returning with market-aligned products and forging more valuable partnerships
