Traffic safety product display
1. Background of the exhibition and the original intention of K-Lite’s participation
During the exhibition, a K-Lite (Shanghai) Industrial Co., Ltd. person in charge said: “INTERTRAFFIC CHINA 2025 is key for us. It lets us show our tech strength and quality products to the world. Notably, we always focus on developing quality traffic safety products. We also contribute to global road safety via continuous innovation. We hope to work with more industry partners at this exhibition – together, we’ll push the traffic safety industry forward.”
As the exhibition went on, the booth continuously got many visitors. Additionally, many pros showed strong interest in the company’s products, and on-site consultations and talks were lively. Looking ahead, at this exhibition, K-Lite will further boost its industry influence. Moreover, it will bring more innovation and changes to the field of traffic safety.
“There is a significant difference between urban and rural roads in Thailand, with rainy seasons, fog in mountainous areas, and large traffic flow in cities such as Bangkok, which requires high durability and adaptability of road safety products,” said the head of the Southeast Asian market at K-Lite. We hope that through the exhibition, local customers can visualize how the product solves these practical problems. ”
2. Core product display: in line with the actual needs of Thai roads
At this exhibition, K-Lite will focus on three types of market-proven products, both optimized for Southeast Asian road conditions:
Solar contour marker: Waterproof design – it fits Thailand’s rainy season with frequent rain. It has a light efficiency conversion rate ≥ 18%. Even in rainy southern Thailand, it guarantees over 8 hours of average daily battery life. Users can fix it on mountain road guardrails and Bangkok suburban bridge side walls via the adapter frame. It automatically adjusts luminous brightness on foggy days or at night, clearly outlining road contours.
Highway stud: The road studs use high-strength PMMA material. They have a compressive strength of 15 tons, coping with high-frequency vehicle crushing on Thai urban roads. Their surface gets anti-ultraviolet coating treatment. In Thailand’s annual environment with over 300 days of strong sunshine, they offer over 3 years of service life. For bumpy rural dirt roads, the road studs have a buffer cushion added to their bottom. This reduces vibration-caused falling-off.
Reflector: The reflectors use moisture and heat resistant optical materials. They have sizes adapted to Thailand’s commonly used road sign specifications. Users can fit and install them directly – no additional modification needed.
3. On-site interaction at the exhibition: focus on actual cooperation needs
Many Southeast Asian countries are in an infrastructure expansion period. They will need US$2 trillion in infrastructure investment from 2021 to 2030. However, individual project budgets are often tight.
K-Lite’s ordinary reflectors and contour markers have a core advantage: “low cost and high efficiency”. Specifically, they cost 40%-60% less than solar active luminous products. They also require no extra power maintenance costs. For example, these products fit perfectly into budget-sensitive projects. These include Thailand’s 652 billion baht (about US$18.4 billion) transportation project and Malaysia’s rural road renovation.
Ease of installation further cuts comprehensive costs. For one thing, contour markers use a pre-formed card slot design. Specifically, users fix the base with a nail gun to install them. A single set takes only a few seconds to construct – this saves 60% of labor costs compared with traditional column contour markers. For another, reflectors can be directly pasted on existing road signs or guardrails. No large equipment is needed. Notably, these products suit rapid deployment of small and medium-sized infrastructure projects, such as Indonesia’s rural roads and Vietnam’s suburban links. They also greatly shorten traffic closure time.
The person in charge of K-Lite emphasized, “We will not pursue short-term market expansion, but will first ensure that the product is fully adapted to the road conditions in Thailand and then gradually promote cooperation.” This exhibition is just the starting point, and the follow-up will respond to local needs with practical actions. ”
